We Have Sold Our First Horror Script
Oliver and I are pleased to announce that we have sold our first feature-length horror script to a UK-based production company. We can’t divulge too much at this stage as we are awaiting our BFI Certificate. Once this is received, we will post further details. We are hoping to commence filming in late November. To say we are delighted would be an understatement. (Added August 2024)
Oliver Signs A Publishing Deal With Sony
Oliver signed his first publishing deals with Sony Music Publishing and Steelworks Songs last week. He would like to thank Eliot Kennedy and Tom Barker, who worked tirelessly to get the deals over the line. He is very grateful for this opportunity and looks forward to sharing more of his music soon.
Oliver has been singing, writing, and performing from an early age and learnt to play the guitar in school. He continued to develop his craft with one-to-one tuition from Andy Whelan, a professional guitarist who has played with many well-known groups, including The Spirit Of Smokie.
Oliver continued his musical development when he joined Leeds College of Music as a Saturday student and then full-time. Since then, Oliver has written numerous original songs and performed live on many occasions. When he isn’t co-writing comedies and dramas with his father, he works on his music at the world-famous Steelworks Studios. (Added June 2024)
A Readthrough For Nettles
Oliver and I recently made the trip to London for a readthrough of our comedy script, Nettles, hosted by Dean and Nicola from 2HOTFILMS at one of the city’s trendiest theatres.
The day was an absolute blast, surrounded by some incredibly talented actors, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We’re already looking forward to the next one, though next time, we’ll definitely be taking the train — because a nine-hour round trip by car isn’t for the faint of heart. (Added February 2024)
